Started a new business today!

A business? I started this newsletter to write about my “spiritual” path and share what I learned in my different experiences and will continue to do so. Little did I know when I set-it up that so many of you would be also entrepreneurs, investors or just interested in a personal business. As we talked about during our latest zoom call, there are many business opportunities or people who are making a living in the consciousness space.

Little did I know I would start another business just two months about leaving the forest, I feel like building again.

I also tell that story on my podcast on Apple Podcast and Spotify, with more emotions than just words.

How consciousness practices apply to business

Many friends reading this told me that the most interesting for them wasn’t when I was writing about only the spiritual practices but how they could be applied in modern life and in business itself. It’s on my mind when I write.

Created a new business today!

So, today, I have setup my new business, it’s called “tetepawa” which means “great eagle”. I was fortunate tetepawa.com was available too. The eagle came a lot in my dreams and in real while I was in the forest so I called the company “great eagle” for inspiration.

I wanted to test if I could do everything online without the use of the traditional way to set-up a business. As I am planning to do events in different countries and online I set-it up as a US Delaware business and used the service “Firstbase.io”, a one stop online service. I set-it all up in an hour on a Saturday online and will have the C Corp “delivered” in 2 to 7 days. The service is very clear and efficient, it points to everything a founder needs after the business is setup: banking, payroll, everything online. It’s very different to the way I was doing business before. It was very simple.

Our event will be selling tickets in several countries I hope -as the event will be online too- (october 14-15), so I will have to deal with local VAT.

Talk to me about getting back to the matrix details and little issues to deal with.

Stripe deals with all of this in a very simple way, I will experiment and write about it. A founder today can start a business in a few hours and benefit from all these online payment or payroll services doing so much by himself, until a certain point of course, but it used to be way more complicated.

While I am now laser focused on making the online and offline event PAWA a reality I keep some time daily for my spiritual practice or learning. Two days ago I spent the evening chanting. I meditate.

A community.

I connect all day long with our community on discord. It’s a beautiful community that took a year in the making and it is where I spend most of my online time.

We are sharing constantly about the consciousness topics there and and I am also sharing about how I prepare the event. Become pure consciousness to “see”

I have listened to some of the audiobook of Joe Dispenza “Breaking the habit of being yourself”. It isn’t a new book but I have not read it. I like it.

Here is one point that sticks to my mind that Dispenza wrote. There are many things we do not understand about how we are all connected to each other and to nature (he keeps talking about Quantum physics which I’d say I don’t understand much about).

He says to understand what’s going on we should be “pure consciousness” and detach from our body, material things and… time. Every thought we have, everything we do changes the energy we emanate. I was thinking about being “impeccably positive” as I was listening to him.

When we start a new business, everything is uncertain. Focus on failure and it will fail. Focus on uncertainty and nothing will work.

The power of manifesting

Focus on what you see will go right and what the finished creation you have in mind will look like if all goes well. Eckhart Tolle calls it the power of “manifestating”. I watched it again.

“Something wants to be created through you. You may have a vision of what it is you want to achieve. You focus on that vision. The power to manifest is in experiencing the fullness of the present moment. Anything that can happen in the future is an add-on to the present moment. Bring your vision of what you want to create to the stillness that you feel now. When you pray for something believe that you already have it, whatever it is that you want. If you can’t feel it now you won’t feel it then.”

Starting a business is all about creating a mental image of the end result and then working really hard to make it a reality, as hard as possible.

I do want to create an event and I have a very clear idea of what it should be, now and in a few years. I decided to do the first one online and in Paris in only 8 weeks on oct 14-15 (save the date!) so of course it won’t be perfect, but I am very excited about a first “MVP”. The ball is rolling, baby eagle is coming out of its egg.
