Hello, Loic. What I like about AI is that I realised I knew how to prompt. With that, you guide the process. Then, you edit and add the things AI wouldn't. But this is just for generating the written word, not the zillion other clever things you can do with it. What's my intention? To finish the book myself, working with people. It might be the last of its kind, but it will be superb.

I'll send you the book.

Love this. It's also how I've been trying to approach writing. Write for myself, and if others want to read, great! Though I've been finding myself falling back into the grooves of craving a strong response to what I write. It's also difficult when writing is tied to my livelihood.

Yeah, it's like thinking aloud but without the attachment of anyone listening to it.

What’s the intention? This is such a great question. I retired a year ago and I had so many plans before actually retiring, going back to university, going back to Ladakh, Bali, Goa, Iquitos, learning integral medicine, Spanish, electric guitar and so much more. But wisely my wife and kids told me "you have been working so hard for the past 40 years, why don't you take a few month just doing nothing and watching what arise (if anything)." And here I am a year later, enjoying the freedom, beauty, peace and luxury of every moment of the open space that has been created and realizing that this is such a precious gifts that I need to protect it fiercely against my own ego driven subconscious drive to fill it with all kind of projects that will keep me busy, make look good or procure instant but non-lasting pleasure. Therefore the power of your question "What’s the intention?", this is so helpfull, and thank you for reminder that Loïc.

A Zen student asked his master, "Is it OK to use email?"

"Yes," replied the master, "But no attachments."

Dear Loic,

Thanks for sharing.

I have been thinking and practicing this method:

I suggest to use the word “the” instead of “my” or just replace it with nothing (sounds like speaking in indian but ok). This way we practice detachment.

For example: “The journal” instead of “My journal”

You can apply this to almost anything: the ride, the flight, the car, the work, the house, the son, the wife, the thoughts…

Just saying. What do you think?

I think that "my" journal is "my" journal and is not "the" journal.

Hi Loic. A gathering is self organising around a few good folks around the question "What is a human being now in the light (dark?) of AI?"

Please keep writing. It’s so interesting to read about your journey and reflections. Makes me think about where and who I want to be at this stage of my life.

thanks for the words of encouragement even though I should stay detached from needing validation for writing, it's always good to receive love.
